Email policy for group messages to current Satellite members

The purpose of this policy is to prevent our members from receiving excessive numbers of emails. We have two email yahoogroups for messages to our members. One group (chat) is for messages about skiing, carpooling, hiking, camping, parties, rock climbing, lost and found, and other messages from any member. These do not need board approval and will go out immediately. A second group is for the general membership for messages about trips and club activities organized with board approval.
